Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency calls and incidents with rapid deployment
- Conduct patrols to prevent crime and ensure public safety
- Enforce city ordinances and state laws with professionalism
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during critical incidents
- Document incidents and prepare detailed incident reports
- Provide public education on safety protocols and crime prevention
- Maintain situational awareness during large-scale public events
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania Act 120 Certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years public safety or law enforcement experience
- Clean driving record and valid Pennsylvania driver's license
- Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and physical fitness test
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills
- CPR/First Aid certification required
- Proficiency in emergency radio systems and report writing
