Responsibilities
- Manage and process high-volume government applications and correspondence with strict adherence to strict deadlines.
- Assist in the resolution of complex casework queries from the public regarding welfare and public services.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date digital records and databases in compliance with data protection regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline administrative workflows and improve service delivery.
- Conduct regular audits of documentation to ensure regulatory compliance and accuracy.
- Provide exceptional customer service to citizens, ensuring a professional and empathetic experience.
Qualifications
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics, or proven experience in a similar administrative role.
- Previous experience within the UK public sector or Civil Service is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and government-specific software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive government data.
