Responsibilities
- Lead System Architecture: Design, implement, and maintain complex IT systems and network infrastructure for state government operations.
- Cybersecurity Oversight: Enforce security protocols and conduct risk assessments to protect sensitive government data.
- Project Management: Lead cross-functional teams in the deployment of new software, hardware, and cloud solutions.
- Technical Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting and strategic guidance to internal stakeholders and government agencies.
- Compliance: Ensure all technical implementations adhere to federal and district IT standards and regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in IT architecture, systems engineering, or a related technical role.
- Certifications: Valid certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or AWS Solutions Architect are highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, SQL, Cloud Computing (AWS/Azure), and Network Security.
