Role Overview
As a Senior Policy Analyst, you will act as the primary liaison between our UK operations and US government stakeholders in Washington DC. You will be responsible for conducting deep-dive research, drafting high-stakes policy recommendations, and ensuring compliance with federal regulations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Comprehensive Research: Analyze complex legislative and regulatory frameworks relevant to Washington DC government operations.
- Policy Development: Draft white papers, briefing memos, and position papers for executive stakeholders in the DC sector.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate communication between US government agencies and our internal technical teams.
- Regulatory Compliance: Monitor changes in US federal laws and advise clients on necessary adaptations.
- Strategic Advisory: Provide expert counsel on navigating the Washington DC government procurement process.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a government contracting or policy analysis role.
- Security Clearance: Must possess or be eligible for a Top Secret Security Clearance (US Government required).
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of the US Federal Government structure and operations in Washington DC.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly.
- Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to the United Kingdom (London preferred).
