Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on city facilities, parks, and public spaces
- Operate heavy machinery and specialized equipment safely and efficiently
- Respond to emergency situations including storm cleanup and public hazard mitigation
- Ensure compliance with municipal codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate infrastructure projects
- Document work activities and maintain accurate records of maintenance operations

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance, construction, or municipal services
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- OSHA certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of power tools, heavy equipment operation, and safety protocols
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
