Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and deliver mail accurately according to established routes and schedules
- Operate mail delivery vehicles safely and efficiently while adhering to traffic laws
- Collect outgoing mail from residential and business collection points
- Maintain proper records of deliveries, pickups, and mail exceptions
- Provide excellent customer service when assisting customers with mail inquiries
- Follow all USPS security protocols to protect mail integrity
- Operate automated mail processing equipment when assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid U.S. driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (6-8 hours daily)
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required
