Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise infrastructure construction/maintenance projects
- Manage departmental budgets and resource allocation
- Coordinate with FEMA and federal agencies for disaster recovery projects
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and Louisiana DOTD regulations
- Develop long-term infrastructure improvement plans
- Lead public outreach initiatives for community projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Public Administration
- 5+ years of municipal project management experience
- LEED/Green Building certification preferred
- Louisiana PE license required
- Experience with FEMA grant applications
- Strong budget management skills ($1M+ projects)
- Knowledge of New Orleans zoning codes
