Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough passenger and baggage screenings using X-ray machines and metal detectors
- Identify and report suspicious items or security threats following TSA protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service to diverse travelers during security checks
- Maintain accurate documentation of screening activities and incidents
- Operate advanced security technology and equipment efficiently
- Collaborate with law enforcement and airport personnel during emergencies
- Adhere to all TSA policies, procedures, and security regulations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to pass rigorous background checks and drug screening
- Must stand for extended periods and lift up to 70 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Clear English communication skills
