Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate complex calendars for federal personnel, including scheduling meetings, travel arrangements, and inter-agency coordination.
- Process and audit official federal documents, ensuring strict adherence to compliance standards and security protocols.
- Maintain and organize both physical and digital filing systems to ensure the quick retrieval of critical information.
- Compose, proofread, and distribute high-level correspondence, memos, and reports with a focus on clarity and accuracy.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal staff and external visitors, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Assist in the preparation of budget reports, timekeeping submissions, and weekly activity logs for agency oversight.
- Support special projects and ad-hoc administrative tasks as directed by senior management to improve office efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field is preferred; High school diploma with significant relevant experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably within a government or corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with Federal Timesheet systems (e.g., GSA, OPM).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to draft professional correspondence.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
