Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and advanced statistical methods
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations for executive leadership
- Ensure compliance with federal data privacy laws (FISMA, HIPAA) and security protocols
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to identify emerging trends and threats
- Create comprehensive data reports for congressional briefings and policy development
- Maintain data integrity through rigorous quality control procedures
- Lead data migration projects between federal systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience with federal data systems and compliance frameworks
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and R programming
- Strong knowledge of federal data governance regulations (NIST, FISMA)
- Certification in data visualization (Tableau, Power BI) required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
- Experience with geospatial analysis and mapping tools (ArcGIS)
- Proven track record presenting complex data to non-technical stakeholders
