Responsibilities
- Assist Federal Agencies: Provide essential administrative support to local government offices and federal contractors in Mesa, NC.
- Data Entry & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential digital and physical records of client information and government documents.
- Customer Service: Respond to inquiries from the public via phone, email, and in-person, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
- Schedule Management: Coordinate appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements for department heads and federal officials.
- Report Preparation: Compile data into clear, professional reports and presentations for review by senior management.
- Compliance Support: Ensure all work processes adhere to federal regulations, state laws, and agency policies.
- Office Operations: Manage supply inventory, process incoming mail, and facilitate the daily workflow of the office.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred but not mandatory for entry-level roles.
- Experience: No prior experience required. We value potential and attitude over history.
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen or eligible for federal employment (e.g., Permanent Resident).
- Skills: Basic computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and government databases.
