Role Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for processing federal claims, verifying documentation, and providing exceptional customer service to the public. You will work within a high-security federal facility ensuring compliance with all agency regulations.
Responsibilities
- Process and adjudicate federal benefit claims accurately and efficiently.
- Review applications and supporting documents for completeness and eligibility.
- Respond to inquiries from constituents regarding federal benefits and policies.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal privacy laws and data security protocols.
- Collaborate with team leads to streamline weekend operations and reduce backlogs.
- Maintain detailed records of all transactions and case statuses.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this federal position.
- Must be eligible for a Federal Background Investigation and security clearance.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday) as required.
