Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret federal, state, and local laws and regulations to ensure organizational compliance.
- Prepare detailed reports, briefings, and policy recommendations for senior leadership.
- Coordinate with stakeholders in Virginia and Washington to align project goals.
- Conduct research on emerging government trends and legislative changes.
- Manage and organize large datasets related to government funding and budgeting.
- Maintain accurate records of all regulatory changes and compliance activities.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in government relations, public administration, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Administration, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience working with federal or state government contracts is highly desired.
- Strong understanding of the regulatory landscape in both Washington and Virginia.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to pass a federal background check and security clearance process.
