Responsibilities
- Perform essential public works tasks including inspections, maintenance, and facility upkeep in various Cleveland neighborhoods.
- Document daily activities and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner using government-approved software systems.
- Collaborate with city departments to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations and building codes.
- Maintain public facilities and equipment to ensure they are safe, operational, and ready for public use.
- Interact with the public and local vendors professionally, addressing inquiries and resolving service issues efficiently.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols at all times to ensure the well-being of the team and the community.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; additional vocational training or certification is a plus.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record are mandatory for field roles.
- Physical stamina required to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic computer literacy with the ability to learn internal government management systems quickly.
- U.S. Citizenship or legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening as part of the security clearance process.
