Responsibilities
- Manage and process complex pension calculations for retiring employees.
- Ensure strict compliance with New York State government regulations and policies.
- Conduct regular audits of financial records to ensure accuracy and prevent fraud.
- Collaborate with HR and Legal departments to resolve eligibility disputes.
- Prepare and submit monthly reports to government oversight committees.
- Assist in the implementation of new pension policy updates and legislation.
- Provide exceptional customer service to government employees regarding retirement inquiries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in government administration or pension management.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SQL database management.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Must be a US Citizen or possess valid Permanent Residency status.
