Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and cleaning of public streets, parks, and infrastructure.
- Operate and maintain heavy municipal equipment such as dump trucks, loaders, and mowers.
- Assist with snow and ice removal operations during winter storms.
- Inspect public facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
- Respond promptly to emergency service calls and public work requests.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations and protocols.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid Kentucky Driver’s License (CDL is a plus).
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and knowledge of hand tools.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
