Responsibilities
- Process 911/emergency calls with exceptional speed and accuracy
- Dispatch police units using CAD/RMS systems during critical incidents
- Maintain precise radio communications with field personnel
- Enter/update confidential case information in real-time
- Coordinate multi-agency responses (fire, EMS, etc.)
- Operate NCIC/DMV databases for suspect/vehicle lookups
- Document all interactions per department protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Clear typing certification (40+ WPM)
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check
- Excellent verbal communication in English/Spanish
- Proficient in computer systems and multitasking
- Valid California driver's license
- No felony convictions
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
