Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and distribute mail according to USPS regulations and delivery routes
- Operate mail processing equipment including scanners, sorters, and conveyor systems
- Load/unload postal vehicles and maintain accurate delivery manifests
- Provide exceptional customer service at retail counters and resolve inquiries promptly
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain secure handling of confidential materials
- Perform route verification and address correction duties as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure daily operational targets are met
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with scanning systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and follow strict delivery schedules
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
