Responsibilities
- Develop and implement county-wide public health strategies aligned with CDC guidelines
- Oversee emergency response operations for public health crises
- Manage grant-funded programs totaling $2M+ annually
- Lead cross-departmental initiatives on health equity and social determinants
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform policy decisions
- Supervise a team of 15+ public health professionals
- Collaborate with state health agencies and community stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, or related field
- 5+ years in public health or government administration
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Proven experience managing public health emergencies
- Expertise in grant writing and compliance
- Advanced data analysis and reporting skills
- Strong knowledge of Ohio public health regulations
- Exceptional communication and leadership abilities
