Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal regulations and policy changes to ensure organizational compliance.
- Prepare high-level strategic recommendations and detailed briefing materials for senior leadership and congressional staff.
- Conduct in-depth research on legislative impacts and produce actionable intelligence reports.
- Collaborate with inter-agency task forces to streamline government operations and improve service delivery.
- Oversee the lifecycle of federal grant programs, from initial proposal submission to final reporting and audit.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the development of departmental standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Clearance: Active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one within 12 months.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal contracting, government relations, or policy analysis.
- Skills: Proficiency with federal financial management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting to diverse audiences.
