Key Duties
Responsibilities
- Process and verify pension applications and benefit requests submitted during weekend hours.
- Review financial data for accuracy and compliance with state regulations.
- Assist state employees with inquiries regarding their pension contributions and status.
- Maintain and update secure databases with confidential personnel and financial information.
- Collaborate with the Monday-Friday team to ensure seamless workflow transitions.
- Perform data entry tasks with a high degree of precision and speed.
Requirements
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Public Administration is a plus.
- Previous experience in a government or financial office setting is preferred.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Strong typing and computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite required).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality.
