Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on luggage for prohibited items using X-ray machines and walk-through detectors
- Conduct pat-down searches and explosive trace detection when necessary
- Verify travel documents and boarding passes against passenger identities
- Maintain efficient checkpoint operations while adhering to TSA protocols
- Respond to security alerts and suspicious activity reports
- Provide excellent customer service to diverse travelers
- Collaborate with law enforcement during security incidents

Qualifications
- US citizenship or legal resident status
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for document verification systems
- Ability to stand for extended periods (4-6 hours)
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid California driver's license preferred
