Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and parcels to residential and commercial addresses along assigned routes
- Sort, sequence, and organize mail efficiently for timely delivery
- Operate delivery vehicles safely while adhering to traffic laws
- Collect outgoing mail and customer correspondence along routes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report service issues
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve delivery inquiries
- Perform mail security procedures and safeguard postal property
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Minimum age of 18 years old
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to walk/stand for extended periods in various weather
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Strong attention to detail and route organization skills
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
