Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses along assigned routes
- Sort and organize mail efficiently using automated and manual systems
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Provide exceptional customer service at mailboxes and post offices
- Handle special deliveries, certified mail, and accountable items
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and report safety hazards
- Adhere to strict delivery timelines and USPS regulations
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work outdoors in Florida's climate
- Basic math and sorting skills
- Strong attention to detail and time management
