Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and business addresses along assigned routes
- Sort and organize mail efficiently using automated equipment
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain accurate delivery records
- Provide exceptional customer service while representing USPS standards
- Report mail irregularities and maintain route security protocols
- Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 70 pounds
- Work in diverse weather conditions while meeting delivery deadlines
- Complete required training and adhere to all USPS regulations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Physical capability to walk long distances and lift heavy items
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Basic computer literacy for tracking systems
- Reliable transportation to and from the distribution center
