Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses along designated routes
- Sort and organize mail according to delivery sequences and USPS standards
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and adhere to traffic regulations
- Collect outgoing mail and parcels from customer collection points
- Maintain accurate delivery records and handle customer inquiries professionally
- Perform equipment maintenance and safety inspections of delivery vehicles
- Adapt to route changes and special delivery requirements
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or permanent legal residency
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 70 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
- Basic computer literacy for USPS systems and reporting tools
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
