Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and business addresses along designated routes
- Sort and organize mail according to delivery sequences
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain accurate records
- Process customer transactions at the Post Office counter when required
- Report mail delivery issues and coordinate with supervisors
- Maintain professional appearance and USPS standards
- Adhere to all safety protocols and delivery time standards
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and push/pull mail carts weighing up to 100 pounds
- Availability to work Monday-Saturday with variable start times
- Basic computer literacy for package tracking systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to walk 5-8 miles daily in all weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent
