Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and parcels to residential and commercial addresses along an assigned route.
- Sort and organize mail efficiently to ensure timely delivery.
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and adhere to all traffic laws.
- Collect outgoing mail and parcels from customers' mailboxes.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with mail delivery to supervisors.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and handle customer inquiries.
- Perform basic maintenance on delivery vehicles and equipment.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have permanent resident alien status.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds.
- Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods.
- Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
