Responsibilities
- Sort and distribute mail along assigned delivery routes efficiently and accurately
- Deliver mail to residential and business addresses in all weather conditions
- Collect outgoing mail and parcels from customer collection boxes
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain proper vehicle records
- Perform parcel sorting, scanning, and processing at the facility
- Follow USPS procedures for security and customer service standards
- Assist with mail forwarding, hold requests, and special services
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident alien
- Minimum age of 18 years old
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours daily in various weather
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic computer literacy and route navigation skills
