Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses along assigned routes
- Sort and organize mail efficiently using automated equipment and manual sorting
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and adhere to traffic regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report service issues
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with recipients
- Perform minor maintenance on delivery vehicles and equipment
- Adhere to all USPS safety protocols and procedures
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and carry mail sacks
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and tracking systems
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods (6+ hours)
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
