Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses along assigned routes
- Sort, sequence, and prepare mail for efficient delivery
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain accurate delivery records
- Collect postage and fees when required
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Maintain route security and follow USPS procedures
- Operate scanning devices to track delivery status
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid state driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Availability to work Monday-Saturday (including holidays)
- Basic computer literacy for scanning systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to work location
- Ability to walk 5-8 hours daily in varying weather conditions
