Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect mail, packages, and parcels on assigned walking/driving routes
- Sort and organize mail in delivery sequence according to USPS standards
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain proper loading/unloading procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve delivery inquiries
- Complete required forms and documentation accurately
- Adhere to all USPS safety regulations and security protocols
- Operate and maintain delivery equipment (vehicles, scanners, etc.)
Qualifications
- Must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Minimum age 18 years old
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy for scanning technology
- Strong customer service orientation
