Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses along assigned routes
- Sort, sequence, and organize mail efficiently for optimal delivery performance
- Operate delivery vehicles safely while adhering to traffic laws and USPS protocols
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve delivery inquiries professionally
- Load/unload mail vehicles and maintain accurate delivery records
- Operate automated delivery equipment and handheld scanning technology
- Work in all weather conditions while maintaining route efficiency
- Adhere to strict safety standards and USPS operational procedures
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status required
- Minimum age of 18 years old
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds regularly
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Basic computer literacy for operating scanning devices
