Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect mail/packages along assigned routes in all weather conditions
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and adhere to USPS transportation policies
- Sort, sequence, and organize mail efficiently for timely delivery
- Maintain accurate delivery records and complete required documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service at mailboxes and customer residences
- Safely handle and transport mail weighing up to 35 pounds
- Operate scanning devices to track delivery status and confirm service
- Report maintenance issues for vehicles and delivery equipment
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status required
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Physical capability to walk 5-8 hours daily and lift 35 lbs repeatedly
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic computer literacy for operating scanning devices
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and holidays as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
