Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and business addresses within assigned routes
- Sort and organize mail according to delivery sequences and schedules
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and adhere to all traffic regulations
- Collect outgoing mail from designated mailboxes and businesses
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with the public
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report any irregularities
- Safely handle and transport mail in all weather conditions
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Minimum age of 18 years old
- Ability to lift and carry mail sacks weighing up to 70 pounds
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods in various weather
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
