Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and business addresses along assigned routes
- Operate USPS delivery vehicles safely and efficiently following all traffic laws
- Sort and organize mail according to delivery sequence and priority
- Collect mail from customer receptacles and post office boxes
- Complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
- Follow all USPS safety protocols and procedures
- Operate provided sorting and scanning equipment
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
