Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect mail along an assigned city route using a postal vehicle
- Sort and organize mail efficiently according to delivery sequences
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and adhere to traffic regulations
- Process customer transactions at the Post Office facility
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and special services
- Ensure mail security and confidentiality standards are met
- Assist with loading/unloading mail at the distribution center
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Basic computer literacy for digital systems training
- Reliable transportation to and from work location
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
