Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect mail along assigned urban routes using postal vehicles and/or walking
- Sort and organize mail efficiently according to delivery sequences
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and adhere to traffic regulations
- Interact professionally with customers while maintaining delivery standards
- Complete required documentation and maintain accurate delivery records
- Adhere to USPS safety protocols and operational guidelines
- Perform light maintenance on delivery equipment as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 70 pounds)
- Physical stamina to work in various weather conditions
