Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and business addresses along assigned routes
- Sort, organize, and prepare mail for daily delivery using automated equipment
- Operate postal vehicles safely while adhering to traffic regulations
- Collect outgoing mail from collection boxes and customer locations
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with the public
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report service issues
- Complete required training on postal procedures and safety protocols
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly (mail sacks, packages)
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and tracking systems
- Availability to work flexible schedules including weekends/holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to walk 5-8 miles daily in varying weather conditions
