Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages safely and efficiently along assigned routes
- Sort and prepare mail for delivery according to USPS standards
- Operate delivery vehicles and maintain equipment in proper working condition
- Interact professionally with customers and resolve delivery inquiries
- Complete delivery documentation and maintain accurate records
- Adhere to all USPS safety protocols and procedures
- Assist with mail processing duties as required
- Represent USPS with professionalism and integrity in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- US citizenship or legal permanent resident status
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and handle heavy mail trays
- Ability to walk extended distances in various weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with handheld scanning devices
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
