Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect mail along an assigned route on foot or vehicle
- Sort and organize mail efficiently for timely delivery
- Operate postal vehicles safely following all traffic regulations
- Provide excellent customer service at customer service points
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report discrepancies
- Load/unload mail containers and equipment safely
- Adhere to USPS policies and security procedures
Qualifications
- US citizenship or legal resident status
- Valid state driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Basic computer literacy for scanning systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to walk long distances in varying weather
