Responsibilities
- Sort, sequence, and deliver mail/packages to residential and commercial addresses
- Operate delivery vehicles safely following USPS regulations and traffic laws
- Collect mail from mailboxes and post offices along assigned routes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report irregularities
- Operate scanning devices for package tracking and proof of delivery
- Provide customer service assistance for delivery inquiries
- Adhere to strict security protocols for mail handling
Qualifications
- US citizenship or legal permanent resident status
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and carry mail sacks
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Availability to work in all weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy for scanning systems
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to walk 5-8 hours daily on varied terrain
