Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect mail along assigned routes on foot and/or vehicle
- Sort and organize mail efficiently using automated equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer service logs
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and adhere to traffic regulations
- Handle customer inquiries regarding mail services and delivery issues
- Adhere to USPS safety protocols and operational standards
- Assist with special delivery projects during peak seasons
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and carry mail sacks
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy for tracking systems
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
