Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and parcels to residential and commercial addresses along an assigned route
- Collect outgoing mail from mailboxes and collection boxes
- Sort and distribute mail according to delivery sequence and postal regulations
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and adhere to traffic laws
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with postal inquiries
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report mail irregularities
- Perform daily vehicle maintenance checks and ensure proper equipment operation
- Work in various weather conditions and physical environments
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident alien
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Pass pre-employment physical examination and drug screening
- Ability to read, understand, and deliver mail efficiently
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Basic computer literacy for tracking systems
