Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses along assigned routes
- Operate USPS vehicles safely and efficiently while adhering to traffic regulations
- Sort and prepare mail for daily delivery using automated sorting equipment
- Collect outgoing mail from designated collection boxes
- Provide excellent customer service at retail counters and when assisting customers
- Complete daily delivery reports and maintain accurate delivery records
- Operate handheld scanners to track delivery status and verify addresses
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for 8+ hours daily
- Pass background check, drug screening, and physical assessment
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and flexible schedule (including weekends)
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with handheld devices
