Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and business addresses along assigned routes
- Sort, sequence, and organize mail efficiently at the facility
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain accurate delivery records
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve delivery inquiries
- Manage package tracking systems and handle special deliveries
- Adhere to USPS safety protocols and operational procedures
- Operate automated delivery equipment and handheld scanners
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with handheld devices
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and flexible schedules
