Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages along assigned residential and commercial routes
- Sort and organize mail efficiently using provided USPS equipment
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain assigned vehicles
- Collect outgoing mail and process customer transactions
- Report delivery irregularities and maintain route documentation
- Adhere to USPS safety protocols and service standards
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status required
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Availability to work Monday-Saturday with flexible hours
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic computer literacy for package tracking systems
- Physical stamina for walking and standing 8+ hours daily
