Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and business addresses along assigned routes
- Sort and organize mail efficiently using provided sorting equipment
- Safely operate USPS delivery vehicles and handle packages up to 70 lbs
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and at post offices
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report delivery issues
- Operate provided scanning devices for package tracking
- Follow USPS safety protocols and procedures at all times
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 70 lbs)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for scanning equipment
- Reliable transportation to reporting location
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- No prior experience required – full training provided
