Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect mail along assigned routes using USPS-provided vehicles
- Sort and organize mail efficiently in accordance with postal standards
- Provide exceptional customer service to residential and commercial customers
- Report and maintain accurate records of delivery issues or irregularities
- Safely operate USPS equipment including vehicles and sorting machinery
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and delivery timeframes
- Assist with mail processing and distribution at local facilities as needed
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident with valid work authorization
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to and from work location
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic computer literacy for mail processing systems
