Responsibilities
- Sort, sequence, and deliver mail/packages according to established routes and schedules
- Operate delivery vehicles safely while adhering to traffic laws and USPS protocols
- Collect mail from mailboxes and businesses along assigned routes
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report irregularities
- Safely operate postal equipment including scanners and parcel lockers
- Participate in continuous training on postal regulations and safety procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Basic computer literacy for scanning systems
- Reliable transportation to/from work location
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
